A Beautiful Site to Behold

Last night, we attended a Baptism Service at our church. Our friend's children were baptized and there were several other new friends being baptized as well.

It is wonderful to be a part of the public declaration of other's who have accepted the call of salvation on their life.

The last person that was baptized last night was a 95 year old lady! It was such a reminder that it is never too late.

I always cry at a baptism of those I know (and I did when it was Faith and Luke's turn)...but as I saw this precious lady be held in the arms of one of the pastor's and then baptized I had tears running down my face. I was just so grateful that God loves us so much and that we can come to Him at any age.

It was just a beautiful site to behold.

"How great is our God
Sing with me,
How great is our God
And all will see
How great,
How great is our God!"

God's Message to Me and You

This song was playing on my alarm this morning...I just laid there and listened to it. What a great way to start the day!

He is jealous for me,
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden,
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.
And oh, how He loves us so,
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us so.
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves.
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves.
We are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.
So Heaven meets earth like an unforseen kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets,
When I think about, the way…
He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves.
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves.
