He doesn't need the Title of "American Idol"

Even though David Cook is my FAVORITE contestant on American Idol...he doesn't need the title of next American Idol. I so want him to be able to make an album with what he wants on it. I would like to see the "David's" in the finale, but David A. could win. I really think little David would do well with the "direction" of the AI production company.

Happy Mother's Day

I spent Mother's Day with my family. We all met at Texas Roadhouse (my mom's favorite place to eat ribs) for lunch. Andrea and I got bought lunch and gave Momma a mani/pedi gift certificate to the place she has her nails done. She was excited. Andrea received a Kohl's gift card, a pink rose and help with her yard work. Here is a picture of us girls on Mothers Day:

Growing Up

Friday night, my neice, Camryn, graduated from Kindergarten. Here are a few photos of the momentous occasion.

She's going to "First Grade, First Grade" (sing that in your head to the tune "New York, New York". All the 5K kids sang a song about all they had learned and they were "Going to First Grade, First Grade"...this made me and her mother cry).

Well...my calf muscles and arm muscles hurt, but I'm all moved in! Thanks in HUGE part to my parents and sister...who helped both load and unload...and my best friends (David, Billie, Belle and Luke) who helped unloaded and put stuff away...I only have 5 more boxes to go through and at this point...most of that stuff is probably going back to my storage room. Once I get those boxes unloaded and put away, I'll take pictures and post them here on the blog.

Moving

Well tomorrow is the day I move into my new apartment in Conway. I have been out of my current apartment since I got back from seeing John. I was house/dog-sitting for my friends...then last night after they got back, I stayed with my sister (staying there tonight as well). What a week...I'm exhausted and I'm only half-way moved.

Here is a little funny: Last night Camryn (my 6 year old neice) and I were playing "Go Fish". It's too bad I don't remember all the rules of this game, because I think she made some up as we went along. Anyway...I had blown her hair dry and pulled her bangs back in a little poof and she kept looking in the mirror at herself. Then she says to me, "I love to look pretty"! Self-confidence is not an issue for her. We continued to play and she gave me her goals...she said "When I get bigger, I want to spread God's Word to others......(pause)..........and be a cheerleader!" Hey whatever floats your boat, dear! I love her to pieces!
